Going Deeper With God

Jesus came to give us a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10 NLT). If you are not currently experiencing it, know that it is possible and easier than you think. It just takes practice…spiritual practice.

Spiritual practices are ways you make yourself available to the transforming work of God. If you have a negative reaction to the idea of spiritual practices (or “disciplines”), it may be because you haven’t found the ones that fit with the way God uniquely designed you. There are literally unlimited ways to go deeper with God, and a little exploration can help you find the practices that bring you love, joy and peace.

This space is designed to introduce you to new spiritual practices and to add new life to old ones.

Welcome. Let’s start exploring!

Spiritual Practices

A still life of a wooden communion table set for a simple Christian worship gathering, featuring a plain silver chalice filled with deep red grape juice and a rustic ceramic plate holding small pieces of crusty, hand-torn bread. The table surface is rich, dark wood with visible grain and subtle imperfections. In the softly blurred background, an open Bible lies flat, its pages faintly lit. Gentle, warm overhead lighting creates soft reflections on the chalice and tender shadows beneath the plate. Captured at eye level in photographic realism, with a shallow depth of field that keeps the elements of communion in sharp focus. The mood is reverent, solemn, and ordered, expressing the sacredness of spiritual practice in a clean, professional style.

Guided spiritual direction conversations that help you discern God’s movement and respond with freedom, courage, and trust.

A serene nature scene designed for Christian contemplation: a smooth, weathered wooden bench overlooking a calm lake, its surface like glass, reflecting a soft, pastel sunrise. On the bench rests a closed, tan leather Bible with a thin ribbon bookmark peeking out, next to a small, simple wooden cross laid flat. Mist hangs low over the water, partially veiling distant tree-covered hills. Early morning light casts a warm golden glow, creating delicate highlights on the Bible’s cover and soft, long shadows on the bench. Photographic realism from a slightly elevated angle, using a wide composition that emphasizes space, quiet, and stillness. The mood is deeply peaceful and reflective, inviting solitary prayer and connection with God through creation.

Retreat resources and tools for creating personal days with God, including reflective prompts, Scripture readings, and prayer guides.
